About us
Tienda Demo InAI, S.L. was born in 2019 in a 40-square-metre shop in Madrid, with a simple and not very original idea: sell fewer things, but better ones. We are still a small team, and every item in the catalogue is chosen one by one.
How we choose what we sell
Before we list a product we order it, use it and take it apart if we have to. If it would not survive two years of normal use, it does not make the cut. That is the whole methodology, and it is why the catalogue grows slowly.
- Materials we can name. If the product page says cotton, it is cotton, and we tell you the weight.
- Spare parts available. We favour the maker who sells the individual part.
- Steady prices. We do not inflate prices just to cross them out: when you see a compare-at price on a product page, it is a price that was actually charged.
Where we ship from
Everything leaves our warehouse in Madrid. We do not do dropshipping: if it is on the site, it is on the shelf. That is why you will sometimes see items out of stock instead of six-week lead times.
Who you talk to when you write
Us. Customer service is not outsourced: the same people who pack the orders answer the messages, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00. Write to hola@demo.inaishop.dev and you will usually hear back the same day.
What we are working on now
We are cutting plastic out of our packaging —80% of orders already ship with only cardboard and paper— and expanding product pages with the durability and repairability information required by the European digital product passport. It is slow, unglamorous work, but it is the work that matters to us.
